This exclusive Club is made up of Movie fans paying between $4.99 to $149 a month to be a member. Each month the Club members vote on which Movie is their favourite with the Movie with most votes receiving finance. When fully subscribed the club has the potential to have upto US$5MM a month to invest into a number of projects every month. Established and award-winning Hollywood-based Directors, Actors & Producers who don’t like the idea of Crowdfunding can access this MovieFund which could equate to US$95MM every year.

4

Movie Page Press Release Distribution

5

Movie Budgets

Filmmakers can request pre-production funding from The Movie Fund to establish above and below the line Movie budgets; pay to write or re-write their scripts, develop investor packages & financial aspects of pre-production.

Above the Line – Talent, cast, principal crew, Director & Producer’s fees.

Below the line – All the direct Movie production costs associated with the production, e.g. locations, catering, accommodation, equipment, stock, deliverables etc.

6

Attach Talent

The Movie Fund works closely with key Casting directors, Producers and Directors in Hollywood to help you attract talent and actors for your movie projects. The Movie Fund will use its advisors and industry members to contact talent agents; negotiate salaries, attach talent, obtain contracts letters of Intent (LOIs) to increase pre-sales, gap financing, equity investments and investor interest. Please read more on the about us page.

7

Tax Breaks & Soft Money

The Movie Fund’s team of tax incentive experts & line producers establish whether a production will be best suited to take advantage of Worldwide tax breaks, soft money and government film grants in order to (a) save money, and (b) generate tax savings for investors. Filmmakers can look to raise 35%+ or more of a Movie’s budget through these tax incentives in certain regions of the World whilst providing investors with tax breaks and even loss relief if the Movie doesn’t make money. Please contact us for more information.

8

Product Placement Financing

‘Product placement’ can be used to supplement a Movie’s budget; the ‘Bond’ franchise is notable for its lucrative product placement deals which bring in millions of dollars to help support the budget. In the Movie, ‘Minority Report’; Lexus, Bulgari and American Express reportedly paid a combined $20 Million for product placement which, at the time, was a record-high amount. Product placement may also take the form of in-kind contributions to the Movie, such as free cars or computers etc.

9

Customer Service & Financial Advisors

We evaluate the potential success and return on investment (ROI) of a Movie from typical movie comparisons with a similar Box Office, Movie Star pull and previous DVD revenues. We are proud to work with the very best film funds, financial advisors and lawyers in the business. A potential investor will be carefully taken through the Movie’s budget, potential profit, movie compares, online revenue reporting, investor packages, ROIs & timescales to revenue.

10

Advisory Board Contact

At any time, investors in The Movie Fund can contact our ‘Advisory Board’ members who are trusted and highly experienced industry professionals, Producers, financial and film fund advisors. If you should have any queries or questions; seek further independent investment and production advice from our advisory board such as returns on investment(ROIs), movie compares potential revenues etc.

11

Negative Pickup Deals

This is when a studio agrees to purchase the movie from the Producer on a given date and for a fixed sum, effectively guaranteeing the sale of the movie upon completion. Generally, a Producer will have a bank or lender available to provide a loan against the value of the negative pickup contract as a way of ‘shoring-up’ the Movie’s financial package. This is commonly referred to as ‘factoring paper’.

12

The Film Producer’s Representative

A well-respected ‘Producer’s Representative’ has the ‘ear’ of powerful distributors, major Movie studios and sales agents. When this representative starts to promote your movie, the chances of success and a distribution deal are greatly increased. They are essentially your ‘Hollywood Fixer’, helping with pre-sales, attracting talent, negative pickups and direct distribution deals taking a percent of the Movie’s profits in return. The Movie Fund has a number of producer’s representatives, so contact us for details.

13

Sales Agents

An ‘International Sales Agent’ has the contacts to Worldwide buyers or distributors and are constantly seeking out ways to sell, market and distribute their Movies around the World. From previous experience they know which type and genre of Movie will sell well and in which territory. It is the sales agent’s job to know what buyers are looking for what type, budget and genre of Movie sells best in all the different parts of the World. They also know which buyers and distributors pay the right value and which ones don’t. Getting a sales agent on board will also help you raise finance for your movie.

14

Completion Bonds

In the event the movie production runs out of money prior to completing all of the editing or other post-production activities; the Producer can apply and pay for a ‘completion bond’ before filming starts.  Completion bonds guarantee the producers (and investors) that the Movie will be delivered to the distributor and pay for any over costs on the original production budget. These bonds can be paid like normal insurance policies and can also take a percentage of the Movie’s profits.

15

GAP and Super-GAP Finance

GAP finance consists of loans made against any unsold International rights and can amount to 5-15% of a movie’s production budget, depending on the genre of the movie, the cast & int. sales estimates. For example, if you have pre-sold your movie in France UK, then the Germany and European territories are available for GAP finance, or an agreed loan amount, against predictions of sales in these and the USA territory. A GAP loan becomes a Super-GAP loan when it extends beyond 15% of the production loan required to shoot the film.
